NORTHWEST AFRICAN QUEEN - By Davies Chirwa

The Northwest African Queen Pageant, NAQ is a production of Northwest African Women Alliance NAWA. It is a competition designed mainly to create a platform/opportunity for the young African women living in North America exploit their personal attributes and resources at their exposal to execute a community project of their choice, of which they would otherwise not be able to.
NAQ professional volunteers guide contestants on writing their projects, so that they are feasible and logical.

The competition also showcases talent, the diverse African culture, creativity and public presentation.
The NAQ pageant is the only event in the Pacific Northwest that unites all Africans and friends to celebrate the beauty of diversity.
